BTCC - Croft: The soft rubber doesn't seem to be going off on the BMWs. It will be interesting to see how the front-wheel-drive cars handle the soft tyre later.
BTCC - Croft: And Foster passes Plato for fourth at Hawthorn!
BTCC - Croft: It's looking good for WSR. Turkington is now 5.7 seconds clear, Foster is closing on Plato for fourth, and Collard is closing on the top 10.

Here's how they did it:

BTCC - Croft: And they're off. Turkington holds the lead and Plato and Collard make contact into turn two.
BTCC - Croft: All the WSR BMWs are starting on the soft tyre, plus Adam Morgan, Rob Austin and Dan Welch.
Turkington will be wanting to get into the lead early and manage the tyres, as he did at Donington. The BMWs are kind to their rubber, so it could work.

FR3.5 - Moscow: Norman Nato enlivened the closing stages by making a last corner lunge on British F3 runner-up Jazeman Jafaar, in a dispute over 10th.
The DAMS driver punted Jafaar sideways and then ran over the Petrobras-backed Malaysian's front wing.
Nato crabbed over the finish in 10th, while Jafaar's damaged Carlin machine was knocked back to 13th.

FR3.5 - Moscow: Vandoorne has picked up a commanding second win of the weekend at Moscow.
The Belgian finished 11.7s clear of championship rival Kevin Magnussen.
Will Stevens finished third, from Nico Muller. Former champion Mikhail Aleshin has bounced back from a tough race one to claim fifth, while Draco's Andre Negrao completed the top six.

FR3.5 - Moscow: There has been very little in the way of overtaking this afternoon, but Daniil Move has just grabbed seventh from Oliver Webb.

Colin Turkington
BTCC - Croft: Not long now before the first BTCC race here.
Colin Turkington's WSR BMW will line up on pole. MG driver Sam Tordoff told AUTOSPORT yesterday night that he believes the BMWs will dominate if it stays dry.
We've had spits of rain and the forecast isn't good, but the track looks dry at the moment.

Superstars - Zolder: Morbidelli wins his first race of 2013. But the star of the race is Laurens Vanthoor, who charged from the back of the grid to second place.
Curiously, he's stopped on the cool-down and is out of the car. Rather strange.
Anyway, here is the top 10:
1 Morbidelli; 2 Vanthoor; 3 Ferrara; 4 Kuppens; 5 Liuzzi; 6 Giammaria; 7 Giovanardi; 8 Berton; 9 Liuzzi; 10 N Larini.

Superstars - Zolder: Two laps in and Vanthoor is already up to sixth. The local boy can drive...
FR3.5 - Moscow: Championship challenger Antonio Felix da Costa was travelling very slowly on lap three and is pitting for a change of nose.

Superstars - Zolder: And we're racing at Zolder! Morbidelli managed to hold off the more powerful Mercs at the start, and looks strong in these greasy conditions.
FR3.5 - Moscow: The grid is assembled for race two. Stoffel Vandoorne is on pole position for the second time this weekend. The Belgian has a shot at leaving Moscow with the championship lead.
Current points leader Kevin Magnussen lines up third. Will Stevens joins Vandoorne on the front row - a great effort for the Briton who was stuck in the pits with a hydraulic/gearbox issue for much of this morning's qualifying session.

Superstars - Zolder: Here's a very special mode of pitlane transport at Zolder.
Check out the exhaust!
Superstars - Zolder: There will be two formation laps, and the track is damp, but not soaked. Will still be slippery, though.
Something to watch will be Laurens Vanthoor's progress through the field in the second 4WD Audi. He's done enough laps here to know where to pass, and he'll have the grip advantage.

Superstars - Zolder: Bit of pre-race one news. Marco Cassara (Roma Racing Mercedes) won't start thanks to an engine problem.
Francesco Sini will start, but has been moved from 10th to the back of the grid after failing scrutineering yesterday (his Camaro was too wide). And Roberto Benedetti's Cadillac seems to have stopped on the way to the grid.

Superstars - Zolder: Just 10 minutes until race one kicks off here in Belgium, and the rain has started to bucket down. That's great news for polesitter Gianni Morbidelli, as he's looking for his first win of the season in the four-wheel-drive Audi RS5.
There are two races today, and they're the seventh and eighth races of the season. The points are currently as follows:
1 Thomas Biagi 105
2 Giovanni Berton 80
3 Tonio Liuzzi 76
4 Luigi Ferrara 57
5 Gianni Morbidelli 53

Stoffel Vandoorne
FR3.5 - Moscow: Earlier this morning the Formula Renault 3.5 field qualified for race two in Russia, and Stoffel Vandoorne's weekend got even better.
His Saturday win closed him right up to championship leader Kevin Magnussen in the points, and he took pole again for today's race, as fellow title contender Antonio Felix da Costa strugged.

NASCAR - Sonoma: Poleman McMurray thought he'd be near the front, but expected Ambrose and Montoya (who ended up only 13th) to blow him away.
"We were second and fifth in practice so consistently we had a really good car this weekend, so you know you have a chance," said McMurray.
"But Juan and Marcos are able to pull these crazy laps out when they need to."

NASCAR - Sonoma: Ambrose's pole shot was spoilt by a technical glitch just as he started the lap.
"It was pretty fraught really," he said.
"The car was really dialled in and we had a really good shot at pole, but the motor cut out coming up to the green flag. I lost momentum coming up to Turns 1 and 2. I had to really try to get my composure back.
"I can't believe how close to pole we still came."

Jamie McMurray
NASCAR - Sonoma: Everyone expected a Marcos Ambrose, Kurt Busch or Juan Pablo Montoya pole, but it was the latter's EGR team-mate Jamie McMurray who best mastered the brand new road course system.

IndyCar - Iowa: Hinchcliffe goes fifth-fastest, bumping Ed Carpenter from sixth, and therefore an automatic place in heat race three. As expected, Beatriz's car is not on pitlane, so that's the end of the session.
Top six: Castroneves, Andretti, Power, Kanaan, Hinchcliffe, Servia.

IndyCar - Iowa: Poor lap from Dario, who only manages a 178mph. Kimball, Hinchcliffe and Beatriz still to run, although there's talk that Beatriz will not post a time. Dale Coyne Racing was changing her engine earlier.
IndyCar - Iowa: As Dario Franchitti heads out onto the track, all of the top six places are occupied by Chevrolet-powered cars.
