David Evans was at the service park for the Italian's arrival.

David Evans
We have a little update from David Evans in regards to Ott Tanak, and why his day came to a premature end.
Tanak: "The mistake was on the recce - I made a corner two steps too fast in the notes. We came out of a slow corner into a flat right. It wasn't flat. We hit the Armco and damaged the wheel."
Both Tanak and Evans are expected to restart tomorrow. Evans clipped something on the inside of a corner which threw the car up in the air and across the road into a ditch on the other side.

SS12/15 Poboleda 6.05 miles
After finishing La Figuera, we drive what was the rest of that stage last year as road section before starting the final three miles of the 2014 test. The organisers have bolted on another three miles to make Poboleda and this is all new for everybody. And this whole stage is flowing and very similar in nature to the stage before.

Well, he was. He was up on Ogier through every split but finishes the stage 12.8s down on Latvala.

Only Al Qassimi and Kubica to come through now from the WRC, after Evans, Tanak and Lefebvre all retired today.
Prokop is in now, 20.9s off Latvala's time.
Sordo says he has "no more to give" and that he "can't go any faster," unfortunately that may not be enough! Latvala will soon be breathing down his neck.
The Spaniard is now 0.4s behind Mikkelsen overall.
Sordo loses a place to Mikkelsen! He was matching him through the opening splits but is currently fourth fastest through the stage.

Paddon seems to be looking straight through Meeke towards Ostberg: "We'll keep trying to take a little bit out of Mads. Hopefully me and Thierry can catch them and take a few points away from them."
Speaking of Hyundai, here's Paddon. He is 2.1s slower than Meeke so the overall gap is now 7.1s.

Meeke completes the stage faster than his team-mate. He is currently fourth fastest and is now just 6.3s behind Ostberg.

Neuville is 2.8s quicker than Ostberg. The main battle for Neuville is with his team-mate overall though and Paddon is currently slightly quicker through the opening splits.
Sordo is matching Mikkelsen through the opening two splits.
Ostberg is in and he is 14.6s slower than Latvala.
Mikkelsen says that was 'the best stage he has done on the rally'. That seems quite ominous!
Mikkelsen finishes 2.7s slower than Latvala. The gap between the pair is now down to 3.1s.

Ostberg and Neuville are into the stage and they are both down on Ogier by 5.4s and 4.1s respectively.

Mikkelsen is 0.9s slower than Ogier now through the final split.
Latvala said earlier on that he is targeting a podium now. If he keeps this up he may well leapfrog his team-mate, Mikkelsen.
Mikkelsen has lost a bit of time through the second split, Latvala hasn't though - he is 2s ahead of Ogier through the final split.
Mikkelsen is going even quicker, he is 0.5s up on Ogier at the moment.
Opening splits are in and Latvala is 0.3s up on Ogier, who is more than likely coasting around the Catalunya tarmac.

This a classic stage in this part of the world. This is the stage with probably one of the most famous hairpins of the season – it’s the right-hander with thousands of people standing watching. This one has been chopped down from 30 to 16 miles this year, but it is an absolutely fabulous stage that just flows the whole way through. There’ll be gravel on a few corners, but we kind of know where that’s going to be now – otherwise it’s a really clean road through a couple of villages.
