In entry changes for Monaco, GP3 racer Carlos Sainz Jr makes his Monte Carlo and FR3.5 debut in the Zeta Corse seat previously occupied by Emmanuel Piget and Matheo Tuscher.
Another GP3 race joins the fray in the shape of Nick Yelloly, though the Briton is an established FR3.5 race-winner from previous years. He is also in action with Zeta.

Kevin Magnussen
Kevin Magnussen has emerged as the early points leader after four FR3.5 rounds, four ahead of star rookie and fellow McLaren protege Stoffel Vandoorne, while pre-season favourite Antonio Felix da Costa (a Red Bull starlet) is back in fourth behind Arthur Pic, 32 points adrift.
Being put to the back of the grid in the last meeting at Aragon hurt da Costa, while Magnussen took a dominate win in the first race before Carlos Huertas blitzed the field in a wet race two.

Thursday's action comes from the Monaco support package, as Formula 1's main feeder series Formula Renault 3.5 and GP2 go head to head around the streets.

V8 Supercars - Austin: Safety car is out to clear up after Will Davison slid into Scott McLaughlin. Davison had come into the weekend second to Jamie Whincup in the championship but has had a miserable time in Texas.

DTM - Brands Hatch: Gary Paffett turned up to the podium to present the trophies to the Formula 4 guys, only to find Andy Priaulx had beaten him to it... Typical of his weekend! AP was good enough to let GP present second-place trophy to Jake Dalton, a driver who AP is helping out.
DTM - Brands Hatch: So many drivers have been ranting about the yellow and blue flag rules applied today. Wouldn't be surprised to see sweeping changes for Spielberg.
European F3 - Brands Hatch: Another plug for MS F3 Diary: Red Bull's Russian protege Daniil Kvyat on what he thinks of fragile GP3 Pirelli tyres, whether he prefers everlasting F3 Hankooks... or something else entirely.

Superstars - Brno: Crash! Francesco Sini and Tonio Liuzzi have a coming together while squabbling over second place. Looks like Sini turned across Liuzzi bonnet. Game changing moment for the championship!
Superstars - Brno: Gianni Morbidelli will make the start thanks to a gearbox change between races. It came a cost, though – one of his crew members took a knock on the head while working under the car. He has been cleared of serious injury by the medical centre here in Brno. Will have a nasty headache for a while, though.

DTM - Brands Hatch: Change of result. Paffett has 5s added to race time for not slowing sufficiently under yellow flags. He drops to P6 while Wickens takes P3 and gets to go up on the podium.

DTM - Brands Hatch: Oh dear. The marshal driving the recovery vehicle drives right across the track and into the pitlane without realising that several DTM cars are charging at full speed up the hill. Stupid. Nearly a very nasty accident.
DTM - Brands Hatch: Terrible luck for Farfus. His car ground to a halt on the start/finish straight while he was on course for an easy second.
WTCC - Salzburgring: James Nash snatches his first WTCC victory as Yvan Muller stages a second consecutive charge, this time coming through from 10th to second. Full story here.
Superstars - Brno: Turns out Tonio Liuzzi's temporary loss of power in the closing stages of race one was thanks to his Mercedes' electrical system briefly shutting down, before firing back in to life a few seconds later. System has been replaced for race two, which gets underway in a little under two hours.
European F3 - Brands Hatch: Raffaele Marciello's been disqualified from race three because a gear ratio was not wide enough. He loses his win with Lucas Auer instead taking the victory.

WTCC - Salzburgring: James Nash claims a breakthrough WTCC win, as Yvan Muller completes another charge to claim second ahead of Norbert Michelisz. Full story to come.
WTCC - Salzburgring: Muller picks off Michelisz now to move into second. With one lap to run he is 1.1s off Nash.
DTM - Brands Hatch: Tambay's had a drive-through for spinning Priaulx at Druids. Merhi's probably going to get one for spinning Tomczyk and Spengler was lucky to avoid one for chopping Paffett's nose off on the run up Hailwood Hill.
WTCC - Salzburgring: Muller drafts past Monteiro down the back straight to move into third, 2.3s off leader Nash. Four laps to go.
WTCC - Salzburgring: Nash fights back past Michelisz and into the lead. Muller meanwhile is on another charge and is up to fifth after moves on Huff, Tarquini and Nykjaer.
WTCC - Salzburgring: Chilton's race appears to be over. Caught up in a Turn 1 fracas which also involved MacDowall and Thompson, he's pulled into the pits at the end of the first lap.
