MotoGP - Mugello: We're still one bike down today, though, as Nicky Hayden withdrew before third practice when he decided it was time to listen to the doctors and stop riding so he could get surgery on the old wrist injury that has flared up.
Hayden's absence means just one Aspar Honda on the grid for Hiroshi Aoyama.

DTM - Hungaroring: Warm-up lap is underway. Seems to be a swarm of bees somewhere around the circuit that the cameras have spotted.
Martin, meanwhile, has stalled on the grid. Luckily for the rookie he's been helped out by Spengler, who doesn't pass him, therefore meaning he can keep his P4 grid spot.

DTM – Hungaroring: Race three of the 2014 DTM season is go!

Paffett has a less impressive start, and gets turned around at the second corner.

MotoGP - Mugello: Most of the crowd here is preparing to go nuts for Valentino Rossi, but there's also a grandstand full of Pramac guests cheering for the man who's actually the top Italian on the grid: Andrea Iannone.
AUTOSPORT Race Centre Live has made a habit of praising Iannone's progress this year just before he crashes. So we're saying nothing. Except that second on the grid is pretty decent for the second year rider, nicknamed 'Crazy Joe' or sometimes 'Joe the Maniac', on the satellite Ducati.
Marquez reckons Iannone will be the early leader, but no one expects him to stay the front - using the softer tyre available to Open runners helped him in qualifying but Ducati's longer-run pace isn't so great.

DTM - Hungaroring: Four laps completed here in Budapest, and Wittmann continues to lead. Glock isn't letting him go, the gap at 1.4s, while Da Costa is in the hunt too.
Best of the prime runners at the moment is Spengler in eighth. The pit window opens on lap 14, while all the soft runners have to pit by lap 20, and the prime runners can't pit until lap 20.

MotoGP - Mugello: It's Valentino Rossi's 300th grand prix start, and he didn't want to be taking it from 10th place.
Widely tipped to win here - by Marquez in particular - after his recent form, he's optimistic about his race pace still but concerned about how long it will take to fight through the field.
"We did a big mistake," he said after qualifying, "we decided to change the front tyre and it was the wrong decision because I felt very bad with the softer front tyre and I wasn't able to improve my laptime.
"It was a great shame because I had good potential and I could've started at the front.
"But it's like this. From the fourth row everything will be more difficult, but we have the pace."

DTM – Hungaroring: Gary Paffett is out of the race, and he's not happy. He just had this to say about Joey Hand, who hit him on the first lap:
"It's not bad luck, its bad driving. He just drove into me. I've never seen as much damage on a car that's been hit by another car. If he doesn't get a penalty, there's no point having an rules. He's an idiot. It's a stupid move."

MotoGP - Mugello: The tyre selection sheet is out and it's pretty much mediums all round for the frontrunners.
The only man doing anything different in the top part of the grid is Iannone, who has a softer rear on his Pramac Ducati in second place.

MotoGP - Mugello: Don't discount Dani Pedrosa today, he was very quick in practice and achieved fourth on the grid despite hitting an engine map button by mistake during Q2 and giving himself limited power.
If he avoids the switches, he should have good race pace.

MotoGP - Mugello: Tech 3's young duo Pol Espargaro and Bradley Smith did well in qualifying, taking fifth and seventh - despite both having some tumbles this weekend.
Espargaro's came on the out-lap for his second Q2 lap as he tried to put heat in his tyres, so hanging on to fifth was a relief.

MotoGP - Mugello: Lorenzo completes lap one with a clear lead, as Iannone, Marquez and Dovizioso go three-abreast for second place. That Ducati has some power...
MotoGP - Mugello: Rossi is about to join the second-place battle, he's up to fifth behind Dovizioso.
MotoGP - Mugello: Now Rossi slips past Dovizioso, that's 10th to fourth in a lap and a half, to the delight of the crowd.
Pedrosa isn't flying, he's back in eighth behind Pol Espargaro and Crutchlow.

Crash
MotoGP - Mugello: Bradley Smith is the race's first exit, crashing out on lap three. He's OK. His bike isn't.
MotoGP - Mugello: Marquez takes two tenths out of Lorenzo on lap three, as Rossi claims third from Iannone.
Crash
MotoGP - Mugello: Crutchlow crashes out, and his Ducati spins down the road and takes Bradl out too.
That's a very nasty accident, but both are OK.
Poor Bradl was a doubt for the race due to arm pain after his massive warm-up crash, so definitely didn't need to be sent flying again.

MotoGP - Mugello: We're on lap seven of 23, Lorenzo has Marquez on his tail and Rossi is another 0.8s back.
Iannone holds a solo fourth now, with Pol Espargaro fending off Pedrosa and Dovizioso for fifth, all chased at a slight distance by Bautista.
Good run from Redding: he's pressuring Aleix Espargaro for ninth and holding off Hernandez.

MotoGP - Mugello: A few more onto the retirements list, as Fabrizio comes into the Ioda pits and Hector Barbera is shown walking away from what was probably a shunt.
MotoGP - Mugello: Pedrosa has cleared Pol Espargaro for fifth and is now beginning to hunt down Iannone for fourth.
MotoGP - Mugello: Marquez is currently content to sit two tenths behind Lorenzo. Rossi is losing a few tiny fractions per lap to the top two but is still in contention.
Breaking news
MotoGP - Mugello: Some Marquez family news - Marc's brother Alex went for x-rays after being involved in the nasty last-lap Moto3 crash with Jack Miller and Enea Bastianini, but he's been passed fit with no broken bones.
And a correction, as Race Direction says Barbera's retirement was a technical problem, not a crash.

MotoGP - Mugello: Pedrosa overtakes Iannone for fourth. The Honda is 5.2s behind third-placed Rossi with 14 laps to go, can he get himself in the podium hunt now?
MotoGP - Mugello: Hard to say if Marquez is holding station here to pass Lorenzo when he fancies, or if the resurgent Yamaha is just too quick to overtake at present. The runaway points leader certainly didn't charge onto Lorenzo's tail with his usual juggernaut momentum. They're still 0.2s apart with 13 laps to go.
MotoGP - Mugello: Iannone managed to repass Pedrosa for fourth briefly, but the Honda has reclaimed the place, although that dice allowed Pol Espargaro to catch them both too.
MotoGP - Mugello: Pedrosa just can't get rid of Iannone - the Pramac Ducati is back in front of the works Honda into fourth.
MotoGP - Mugello: Rossi is now 1.6s off the lead in third place. Unless Lorenzo and Marquez get tangled up, it looks like the local hero will be settling for the lowest step of the podium.
That's still a big improvement on last year's first-lap exit (in a clash with Bautista).

DTM – Hungaroring: Lap 32 and no big changes here. Wittmann is still leading from Molina, while Mortara, Glock and Da Costa are scrapping over third.
The best of the runners now on options is Bruno Spengler, who is eighth and running about two seconds a lap quicker than those around him. Could be a sneaky podium chance.

MotoGP - Mugello: Marquez is sliding around enough to suggest that he's pushing rather than just teasing Lorenzo.
Ten laps left in this race and still two tenths between the men up front.
Pedrosa has taken fourth back from Iannone - at least for now - and they've got Pol Espargaro and Dovizioso tussling behind them.

MotoGP - Mugello: Rossi's pace is now dropping away, he's three seconds off the lead in third place.
No threat from behind right now, though, as Pedrosa - who is finally getting away from Iannone - is seven seconds further back.
