FR3.5 - Spa: The cars have just been released from the pits for their laps to the grid.
A little over 15 minutes until the start of race two, with title rivals Carlos Sainz Jr and Oliver Rowland on the front row, hopefully set for their first head-to-head battle for victory this season. Crucial points - and potentially a psychological edge - to play for this afternoon in Belgium.

FR3.5 - Spa: Formation lap is underway here at a sunny Spa. Let's hope the start gantry is up to the job today and we don't get another aborted start.
FR3.5 - Spa: Sainz, Rowland, Stevens, Stanaway, Jaafar, Fantin is our top six on the grid.

Lights out

For the second race running we have a car in the tyre wall at Les Combes. This time it's Fantin who got spat out of the pack.

Quote
MotoGP - Mugello: Lorenzo believes Yamaha just needs a little bit power to finally stop this Honda run.
"A very, very, very fun race," he says. "I felt strong enough to fight with him and the bike seemed better than ever under braking.
"We need a little more top speed because every little tenth I take in the corners, I lose on the straight.
"With 3-4km/h more, I could have more than this second position.
"This time I couldn't win, but I think the victory will arrive soon..."

Can't be long until the leaders come in now, just 2 laps left in the pit window.

FR3.5 - Spa: Drama in the pits as Sainz and Rowland come in together. It's a race of the pit crews, but - unseen by the cameras, Rowland has a problem and loses 11s to the leader in his stop.
That's allowed Stevens through, and surely means Stanaway will rejoin ahead of the Briton as well when he pits.
