AUTOSPORT ventured outside during the break and can report that the rain is still falling, albeit very lightly. It looks like it's now stopped altogether.

Moto2 - Misano: Pol Espargaro leads the field at one-third distance, although Rabat, Luthi and Nakagami are all within two tenths of a second of the MotoGP-bound rider. Redding, who leads Espargaro by 38 points, is 12th at present.
ERC - Poland: Great time by Breen who is beginning to find his form as the event progresses. He's set a fourth quickest time of 6m33.3s.
"It's got a lot better," says the Irishman. "I was start to get in a good place. This morning I was just driving safe, now I have started to drive the road."

ERC - Poland: Holowczyc posts a fifth quickest time of 6m46.0s. The Polish legend is currently riding in sixth place overall.
Rain
DTM - Oschersleben: The rain intensified as Q2 drew on so drivers were unable to improve their times inside the final five minutes.
ERC - Poland: Scrap that, Kubica's just crossed the finish line 1.6s quicker than Bouffier - 0.1s slower than stage pacesetter Kopecky.
"We lost around three seconds on the chicane," confessed Kubica. "I went into it and I had to stop."

Jamie Green DTM 2013
DTM - Oschersleben: End of Q2: Green tops the timesheets with Albuquerque, Rockenfeller and Farfus next up.
The rain is getting heavier, and that has prevented anybody from improving their time or position.
ERC - Poland: Rising Polish star Kosciuszko is next to finish, 3.8s slower than Kopecky. He suffered a back injury in Germany last month, but he claims it's not causing him any problems.
"Back is quite OK," he says. "It's quite soft and it is very difficult to feel and I am not comfortable with that - it is difficult to keep the car on the road."

Yellow flag
DTM - Oschersleben: Tambay has an off too, taking a gravelly excursion at the exit of Turn 5 and rejoining the track at the apex of Turn 7.
Yellow flag
DTM - Oschersleben: And Glock is not going to get himself into Q3 like that...
The German sails off the track at Turn 3 and just manages to stop his yellow BMW before reaching the Armco.

Moto2 - Misano: No let up from Misano - Moto2 qualifying is already underway. Nakagami set the pace in the first two practice sessions, before Esteve Rabat hit the front in the third. Pol Espargaro has also been running well, finishing ahead of title rival Scott Redding in all but the first session.
ERC - Poland: ...and here is the Czech with a time of 6m30.8s.
"The grip is getting much better with the bigger ruts," says a rather downcast Kopecky, who also confirmed our suspicion that he's not happy running first.

Rain

Robert Wickens DTM 2013
DTM - Oschersleben: Two massive slides from Wickens on a flying lap. No surprise to cut to the on-board camera and see his windscreen covered in raindrops.
Still not wet enough to get rid of the slicks though.
ERC - Poland: SS5 has begun and Kopecky is first to tackle the 12.1-kilometre course. You have to wonder if the current championship leader regrets choosing his running position after last night's qualifying stage...
Checkered flag
FR3.5 - Hungaroring: Result - 1 Muller; 2 Magnussen; 3 Sirotkin; 4 Vandoorne; 5 Aleshin; 6 Melker; 7 Sainz; 8 Stevens; 9 Pic; 10 Laine.
Late heartbreak for pole-sitter Negrao, who spins at the end of the penultimate lap and loses fifth place.

DTM - Oschersleben: So Vietoris, the nearest title rival to Rockenfeller, is 21st fastest. He'll be elevated at least one spot when the grid penalties to Juncadella and Paffett are applied.
FR3.5 - Hungaroring: Just to prove a point, Muller responds to Magnussen's pace in clear air and extends his lead. Sirotkin is third, while Vandoorne has his work cut out keeping Negrao behind him for fourth.

Rain
ERC - Poland: The fifth stage of the day, a re-run of the Baranowo test, goes live at 15:02 local time (14:02 BST) and it is tipping it down with rain, which is going to make the already difficult conditions even worse if it continues.
Checkered flag
MotoGP - Misano: Lorenzo falls just 0.024s shy of demoting Marquez, but it might all be academic - the Spaniard is three tenths up after three sectors, and sure enough comes round in a 1m32.915s. Stunning - its the first time MotoGP has ever been in the 1m32s around Misano.
Pedrosa salvages fourth at the death, giving him a share of the second row with Crutchlow and Espargaro.

DTM - Oschersleben: The rain has stopped, the wipers are no longer being used, and Albuquerque sticks in a 1m20.723s lap - as fast as anything we saw in the totally dry practice session this morning.
MotoGP - Misano: Rossi goes second now, 0.2s down on Marquez. Espgararo follows the Italian to vault into fourth. Lorenzo and Pedrosa both on flyers though.
MotoGP - Misano: Odd scenes as something falls off Crutchlow's Tech 3 bike and disintegrates on track. Two minutes to go, and we still have a top six of Marquez, Lorenzo, Rossi, Bautista, Crutchlow and Bradl.
Stopwatch
DTM - Oschersleben: The top spot has changed hands about 15 times in the past minute as they all scrabble to get a slick time in the books before the rain gets any heavier.
Currently Tambay is the fastest man in 1m21.578s Farfus and Paffett are next up.

FR3.5 - Hungaroring: No adding of insult to injury for da Costa - the stewards are taking no further action after investigating his clash with Aleshin.
Up front Muller is flying and has opened his lead up to 16 seconds. Magnussen is now up to fifth, with Vandoorne close behind, as they both put pressure on Stevens.
