IndyCar - Long Beach: Al Unser Jr gives the order to start engines. We should be in for an entertaining race, particularly with so many big guns starting back in the field - according to IndyCar, this is the first time that both Penske and Ganassi have failed to qualify a car in the top six.

IndyCar - Long Beach: Bobby Rahal, on the other hand, is presumably quite comfortable in a suit, but less so with seeing his son Graham preparing to start from last on the grid. Asked by AUTOSPORT how he was feeling, he replied "I'll tell you in two hours".
