Moto2 - Indianapolis: The Moto2 bikes are on the grid now, and it's also worth noting that the sun is out.
Weather has been looking tricky in the forecasts all weekend, but all the major sessions have so far run rain-free.

Moto3 - Indianapolis: One last note on Moto3 before we move up a division for the next race... it's not just Miller who's been attracting the attention of MotoGP teams.
The Spanish press has been reporting an approach for Rins from Yamaha, though it seems to have been snubbed.
Rins was the hot property in this pack last year but his lack of 2014 wins is leaving him trailing now.
Both Rins and Marquez are in the Repsol/Honda-endorsed Monlau junior scheme that catapulted Marquez's rather famous big brother Marc towards MotoGP. Will we one day see the Marquez brothers as Honda MotoGP team-mates...?

Moto3 - Indianapolis: That's also the first win for Vazquez's RTG team since Louis Rossi's shock French GP triumph in 2012.
Being pipped on the line has left Fenati a bit frustrated, but also pleased to be back on the podium. He hadn't been there since winning his home race at Mugello at the start of June.

Moto3 - Indianapolis: Seems this revised Indianapolis road course layout - which was heavily tweaked for IndyCar's debut on the infield in May - is not only faster, but even better than the old layout for slipstreaming. That was an outstanding start to the day in Moto3.

Moto3 - Indianapolis: Vazquez tucks into Fenati's slipstream, the Italian tries his best to break the tow, but Vazquez pops out as they approach the flag and grabs his first win at last.
Moto3 - Indianapolis: Vazquez gets inside Fenati at the end of the back straight, but the young Italian brakes later on the outside and holds the lead.
Moto3 - Indianapolis: Onto the final lap and Fenati is far enough ahead onto the straight to keep the lead into Turn 1 despite Vazquez's best efforts.
Moto3 - Indianapolis: Rins is all over leader Vazquez again through the infield, then makes it into the lead as they begin the penultimate lap, though Fenati is drafting them both as well and it's the Italian who snatches the lead.
Moto3 - Indianapolis: Vazquez leads again with three laps to go. Rins has a crack at passing him but is squeezed tight to the inside and Fenati slips through.

Moto3 - Indianapolis: Masbou is another veteran - the Frenchman has been at 125cc/Moto3 level since 2003 and is still seeking his first win. Don't rule it out today, he's just barged back ahead of Marquez after the young Spaniard overtook him.

Moto3 - Indianapolis: Unless anyone can make a break, this is surely going to come down to the final lap.
And there's a fair chance of a photo finish as it's the run onto and down the main straight that's key. Every time they pass the pits, the pack fan out four or five abreast and the order is totally different into Turn 1.

Moto3 - Indianapolis: It's now a 10-bike lead pack as Alexis Masbou, Miguel Oliveira and Jakub Kornfeil catch up too. The whole train is within 1.3s with nine laps left.
Moto3 - Indianapolis: At 27 years old, yet to win a race and in his seventh year at this level, Vazquez is very much the low-key member of the Moto3 title chasers - especially when up against the new Casey Stoner, Marc Marquez's brother, Valentino Rossi's protege and a Respol/Honda-backed Spanish star.
But he's held his own in the lead battles this year and crept up to third in the championship.

Moto3 - Indianapolis: Vazquez drafts down the outside of the Monlau pair, Fenati takes to the inside, and they appear in first and second into the first corners, where Vazquez muscles Fenati aside and establishes himself in the lead.
Moto3 - Indianapolis: Still 12 laps to go and 0.8s cover the top seven bikes. Miller has made his way back to fifth now, as Rins leads Marquez, Fenati and Vazquez.

Moto3 - Indianapolis: While one of Valentino Rossi's young chargers leads, the other has just gone off track. Bagnaia had been in the top six until that crash.

Moto3 - Indianapolis: Fenati is on the move, though. He's got ground to make up in the championship after a disastrous outing in Germany last month, and he's just passed Vazquez and Marquez to take second... although Marquez swiftly gets the place back.
