MotoGP - Indianapolis: Pre-race silly season rumour of American interest #3 - Nicky Hayden is in talks with LCR with a view to becoming Stefan Bradl's team-mate next year.
The bike would be one of Honda's new 'production' racers (customer prototypes, basically) with backing from Honda USA.
Hayden will start sixth for his final American race with Ducati today.
NASCAR – Michigan: Finally, the race has started in earnest. Logano leads, but Kurt Busch and Dale Earnhardt Jr are close by. Clint Bowyer and Jimmie Johnson are on the move in the pack.

MotoGP - Indianapolis: Pre-race silly season rumour of American interest #2: Forward Racing isn't just going to get Yamaha engines for 2014, it's going to get pretty much a full 2013 Yamaha prototype.
So if Colin Edwards stays on - and he wants to - he could have a much better bike next year.
The American veteran is flying this weekend, he was top CRT in qualifying and made his first appearance in Q2. And he got to pose in parc ferme with the top three.
