Euro F3 - Hockenheim: Giovinazzi tried an around-the-outside move on Rosenqvist, who predictably hung him out to dry on the exit of the Mercedes Arena. That has allowed Verstappen to close up on him.
Euro F3 - Hockenheim: We're well past the halfway point now with Auer leading Blomqvist by 1.8s.
Euro F3 - Hockenheim: There were millimetres separating them from a huge shunt there at the high-speed kink preceding the Mercedes Arena, but Verstappen and Ocon did not touch. An amazing sight.
Euro F3 - Hockenheim: Ocon and Verstappen are interlocking wheels into the Mercedes Arena, and the Dutchman makes it through. That was super-close! Great racing.
Euro F3 - Hockenheim: Auer's lead is now 2s. King is within striking range of Blomqvist, but no signs of making any moves just yet.
Euro F3 - Hockenheim: Auer was caught flirting with the track limits at Turn 1. He has set the fastest lap of this race - perhaps those two facts are connected?
Euro F3 - Hockenheim: From the back of the grid after an engine change, Dennis is now 10th! A mighty effort from the former McLaren AUTOSPORT BRDC Award winner.
Euro F3 - Hockenheim: Rosenqvist and Giovinazzi are duelling hard over fourth. They were side by side at the Mercedes Arena, but Rosenqvist held on.

Behind them, Verstappen divebombed Ocon at the hairpin, but he braked way too late and Ocon just cruised past him on the exit.
Euro F3 - Hockenheim: Menezes serves a drivethrough penalty for causing that startline shambles. It was an amazing cloud of smoke that came out of his car.
Euro F3 - Hockenheim: Things have settled down now, with Auer holding a handy gap thanks to Blomqvist's error on the previous lap. It's a 1.5-second lead, with King, Rosenqvist, Giovinazzi, Ocon and Verstappen all queued up behind the Swedish-sounding Briton.
Euro F3 - Hockenheim: A replay of the restart shows where Verstappen lost his spot to Ocon, as he ran on to the dirt on the exit of the Sud Kurve.
Euro F3 - Hockenheim: Blmoqvist makes a mistake on the entrance to the Stadium section, and that's allowed Auer to get well away. He only just held off King for second there.
Euro F3 - Hockenheim: Blomqvist is attacking Auer for the lead at the Mercedes Arena.
Euro F3 - Hockenheim: We are racing again. Auer gets a good restart, pulling a gap over Blomqvist. Ocon is ahead of Verstappen now.
Euro F3 - Hockenheim: So the race order is Auer leading from Blomqvist, King, Rosenqvist, Giovinazzi, Verstappen and Ocon.

King passed both Giovinazzi and Rosenqvist on that dramatic opening lap.
Euro F3 - Hockenheim: Boo! The safety car is out. Serralles and Calderon are stranded in the middle of the track. That was some first lap between Auer and Blomqvist, they were side-by-side for most of it.
Euro F3 - Hockenheim: Auer grabs the lead again at the Mercedes Arena! That was great racing.
Euro F3 - Hockenheim: Auer leads into Spitzkehre, but Blomqvist gets him back.
Euro F3 - Hockenheim: At the second attempt, poleman Blomqvist leads into Turn 1, Auer tries on the outside but he can't make it through.
Euro F3 - Hockenheim:The start was aborted, but it was a very late call as Menezes had an issue that caused the yellow flags to come out.
Euro F3 - Hockenheim: And we're racing on this final big day of European racing. Except we're not! That was a shambles, some cars went, some didn't. Fortunately there were no collisions.
Euro F3 - Hockenheim: Warm-up lap is now under way. Get set for action...
Euro F3 - Hockenheim: Champion Ocon starts from P6, one place ahead of F1-bound Verstappen. The battle between them with no doubt be as intense and that for victory ahead of them.

The grid is now being cleared, so we're just a few minutes away from the warm-up lap.
Euro F3 - Hockenheim: It's a sunny morning, with the grid now packed for the 33rd, and final, race of the season. Yesterday's winner Blomqvist is on pole, with Auer next up ahead of Rosenqvist and Giovinazzi.
Euro F3 - Hockenheim: There's a delayed start in Germany, with cars only just now leaving the pitlane. It's a 22-lap race to conclude the season.
