DTM - Hockenheim: As usual, the option runners are pulling away. The order after two laps is Green, Wehrlein, Farfus, Molina. Ekstrom is best of the standard starters in sixth.
FR3.5 - Jerez: Gasly's slow stop has dropped him behind Latifi as well. Rowland is six seconds clear of Buller up ahead - leading the cars that have made their mandatory stop.

DTM - Hockenheim: We're racing at sunny Hockenheim, and Miguel Molina has run wide at the second corner! That gives Jamie Green the early lead!
FR3.5 - Jerez: Merhi returns slowly to the pits and pulls into the garage - and a fire breaks out under his engine cover. Mechanics spot it quickly and the flames are dealt with.
BSS - Zolder: There was clear contact with Zanard's ROAL BMW - Vasilyev turned hard right into the barriers in the braking zone.
FR3.5 - Jerez: Rowland and Gasly pit from the front of the field. Fortec's stop for Rowland is a rocket, and he's back on his way. Gasly is delayed slightly, enough to leave him rejoining the race behind team-mate Buller.
However, with Merhi in trouble, Gasly is on course to take second in the championship.

FR3.5 - Jerez: Merhi pits from third. It's not a quick stop, there's trouble on the right rear, and now the car has stalled! Frantic action in the cockpit and at the rear of the Spaniard's machine, but he's lot a huge amount of time as he finally rejoins.

BSS - Zolder: Safety car number two: Vasilyev has gone off into the first chicane in a big way in the Russian Merc. The SLS is looking sorry for itself, but Vasilyev was able to get out on his own.

FR3.5 - Jerez: Mavlanov's car is in the gravel on the outside of Turn 5. At the moment it's being left there - given the events of recent weeks you wouldn't want to see any marshals sent out to recover it without a safety car being called first.
BSS - Zolder: Kox, winner here in FIA GTs last season, is controlling this one - he's over second up on Proczyk after six laps.

BSS - Zolder: The safety car is out. Kox leads from Proczyk, Ramos and a fast-starting Buhk up from sixth. Ide is parked at the side of the circuit, which means its the end for his and Rast's championship aspirations.
AutoGP - Estoril: Tamas Pal Kiss has cruised to his third win of the 2014 Auto GP season heading home Super Nova duo Vittorio Ghirelli and Markus Pommer. Single-seater returnee Antonio Pizzonia finishes in fourth position after losing time during his mandatory pit stop.

FR3.5 - Jerez: The upshot of Merhi's penalty is that yesterday's runner-up Oliver Rowland starts from pole. He missed out on victory yesterday by 0.078s to Will Stevens, and he was sure that if he had got out front he had the pace to drive away from the field.
He has a chance to prove that now, although the mandatory pitstop in today's race complicates things slightly. Gasly, starting alongside him on the front row, has a three-point deficit to make up on Merhi if he wants to complete a Red Bull one-two in the championship.

FR3.5 - Jerez: GLENN FREEMAN: "Based on what we've seen all weekend here with drivers slowing all over the place to find clear track, I think Merhi has a right to feel pretty hard done by for having his pole position taken away.
"Drivers complained a lot yesterday about people getting in their way - the final sector in particular here is pretty fiddly and makes it difficult. In the end, with no action taken, they all seemed prepared to shrug it off as one of the challenges of this track.
"So for the officials to decide to give out some penalties for the first time all weekend today, to somehow rule that only three drivers (Merhi, Amberg, Mavlanov) were guilty of impeding is alarming."

Carlos Sainz
FR3.5 - Jerez: Little more than half an hour to go until the start of the 2014 season finale. The championship is all wrapped up for Carlos Sainz Jr, so the focus is on who finishes the year as runner-up.
Roberto Merhi's first lap elimination yesterday (which confirmed Sainz as champion) allowed Pierre Gasly to close to just three points behind the Spaniard.
Merhi responded by taking pole position this morning, but that was taken away around an hour ago when the officials deemed that he impeded another car in qualifying and gave him a 2-place grid drop - so Oliver Rowland starts on pole.
AutoGP - Estoril: Much confusion as the safety car and medical car rejoin the back of the second dummy grid! The race will resume under safety car in 10 minutes. I reckon this one should be filed under 'procedural discomfort!'
AutoGP - Estoril: A bit of a shambles at start of first Auto GP race. Race red flagged midway through first lap as the safety car appears to have conked out at rear of the grid! Kiss led away from Pizzonia at start with Ghirelli down to third. Cars re-forming on grid now.

While traditionally the top five or six cars have been starting on options this season, Audi has opted to start Ekstrom and Mortara on the standard Hankooks.
According to Dieter Gass, given recent events in motorsport around the world, he is predicting a 'better safe than sorry' attitude from the race director – which means higher chances of a safety car. So, Audi is hedging its bets with the strategy of its front-runners.

DTM - Hockenheim: It's less than an hour until the last DTM race of the 2014 season. In case you missed it yesterday, Miguel Molina will start from pole position, ahead of his Audi team-mates Mattias Ekstrom and Edoardo Mortara.
Here's what Molina had to say about yesterday's qualifying.
"The aim is now to win my first race in DTM. That's the aim. That's the only idea.
"I actually felt quite good in the free practice, and from the first lap in qualifying I felt like I had a good car. I wasn't actually that happy with my lap in Q3, but I think it was down to the track and how it was changing at the end."
ELMS - Estoril: Harry Tincknell sealed pole position for Jota Sport at Estoril this morning. He took his Zytek-Nissan to a fourth pole of the season to claim a point and reduce the gap to title leaders - Signatech Alpine to 9pts. Stuart Hall is on pole in the LMGTE class with the Gulf Racing UK entered Aston Martin. Luca Persiani claimed a third pole of the season for the #71 SMP Racing Ferrari in GTC.
Euro F3 - Hockenheim: So that's the 2014 Euro F3 season done and dusted, and their thoughts now turn to the Macau GP next month.

Euro F3 - Hockenheim: King has caught Blomqvist napping at the Spitzkehre and grabs second place. A superb, and unexpected, move.
