IndyCar - Milwaukee: Power and Kanaan pit together. Power gets a small adjustment to his front wing, and beats his rival back out.
Montoya led for a lap before heading in for his own stop, but he made a bit of a hash of hitting his marks and managed to clip one of his own tyres. We'll have to wait and see whether there is a penalty on the horizon for the Colombian.

IndyCar - Milwaukee: Horrible start for Takuma Sato, who almost spun while he was rounding the final corner before the green. He has fallen from 10th to 19th.

NASCAR - Michigan: It wasn't necessarily Penske running around faster than Hendrick that got Logano ahead of Gordon - the team slightly short-fuelled Logano's Ford to help him get track position, and this yellow has taken away most of the fuel-saving worries.

Not much happened, then there was a yellow and Zach Veach pulled off one of the passes of the year to deny Andretti team-mate Matthew Brabham:

That means Gabby Chaves's lead over Veach is down to just seven points ahead of next weekend's double-header finale at Sonoma.
Jack Harvey is still just about in the hunt but a muted fifth didn't help him much.
He's 23 points off Chaves, and with a field in single figures and even the retirements getting points under the Lights scoring system, a repeat of the Brit's Mid-Ohio double win is the least he needs.
