NASCAR - Watkins Glen: Official name of today's race is the Cheez-It 355. Cheez-Its are baked snack crackers, first sold in 1921. Illustrious heritage there.

NASCAR - Watkins Glen: Polesitter Marcos Ambrose has won the Sprint Cup race here for the last two years, the latter victory coming in a wild finish with Kyle Busch and Brad Keselowski on a slippery track.
Other Glen winners in the field are Juan Pablo Montoya (11th on the grid), Kyle Busch (fifth), Kevin Harvick (26th) and Jeff Gordon (28th).
British F3 - Brands Hatch: We reckon that puts King eight points ahead of Buller ahead of the Nurburgring finale.

British F3 - Brands Hatch: Cars have just done recce lap to the grid, except for the Carlin latecomers. A quick reminder of the grid: Jaafar is on pole from King, with Mardenborough and Latifi on the second row (a Carlin 1-2-3-4), Giovinazzi and Guimaraes on the third and Buller with a lot of work to do from seventh. Ed Jones starts from National Class pole.
British F3 - Brands Hatch: Unlike at Spa, 'Tincks' isn't here to watch and a brief flash from his Twitter account suggests he's busy enjoying the latest Alan Partridge film. Which, if you're not going to be at Brands, is probably a thoroughly worthwhile way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

British F3 - Brands Hatch: Slightly amusing coincidence in that both races so far this weekend have been won by cars who are usually driven by someone else in the European championship. Jaafar is in Harry Tincknell's regular Carlin mount, while Guimaraes is in Pipo Derani's Fortec machine. So now you can put that in your chassis-history notebooks!

British F3 - Brands Hatch: Guimaraes isn't really in the title frame, but was very happy with his reversed-grid win.
So was mentor Alex Ribeiro, whose Jesus Saves Racing initiative Guimaraes represents. Alex was an ace of the first two years of two-litre British F3, way back in 1974/75, before racing for the March F1 team in 1977.
British F3 - Brands Hatch: It all means that Buller has a nine-point advantage over King, with Giovinazzi a further three adrift. This is turning into quite an interesting title fight, with just Nurburgring after this weekend...
British F3 - Brands Hatch: Of his track-limit penalties, Buller added: "We're working on it [with the officials] at the moment. There were one or two times when I was questionable [with running wide] but certainly not the five they claimed."

British F3 - Brands Hatch: Of his jumped starts, Buller said: "I'm just finding it difficult to get used to the clutch procedure. I couldn't hold it on the line."
British F3 - Brands Hatch: It's been a strange weekend for Will Buller. He lacked pace in qualifying but has been scorching in the races, but has served jumped-start drive-through penalties in both and also earned 35 seconds added to his race time for track-limits offences in the second.

It's a relatively quiet weekend for international motorsport, but there's a flurry to end Sunday so we're here to bring you as-it-happens updates from the final British Formula 3 race of the weekend on the glorious Brands Hatch Grand Prix track, the NASCAR Sprint Cup turning left and right at Watkins Glen and the American Le Mans Series at Road America.
We'll bring you all the action from those three mega venues over the next sevent hours.
