BTCC - Brands Hatch: The first race of the season finale is almost upon us. It's very wet, so it's unlikely the soft tyre option won't come into it today.
Top 10 for R1:
Jason Plato, Sam Tordoff, Andy Jordan, Gordon Shedden, Adam Morgan, Colin Turkington, Tom Onslow-Cole, Frank Wrathall, Rob Collard, Jake Hill.
Matt Neal will start 16th.
Shedden would normally be the favourite in these conditions, but Plato is confident Triple Eight have got on top of the MG's wet-weather handling, so now we'll find out.

Superstars - Vallelunga: Liuzzi temporarily moves into second, only to run wide and lose two spots. Crucially, he was able to slot back into fourth – between Biagi and Morbidelli, the two title contenders.

BTCC - Brands Hatch: Last night AUTOSPORT bumped into reigning champion Gordon Shedden. He confirmed to us that Matt Neal is planning to start today's races, despite the qualifying crash and the hand injury he has.
Shedden himself wasn't entirely happy with the balance of his Honda Civic, but was hoping the rain would help him. And it is very wet at Brands this morning.

MotoGP - Sepang: Dani Pedrosa ended his win drought with a fine victory in Sepang, escaping from a ferocious five-bike fight that included Marc Marquez, Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi. Here's AUTOSPORT's full race report.

European F3 - Vallelunga: Serralles's accident yesterday was caused by a clash with Kvyat that wasn't caught on the TV cameras. Kvyat's car had no damage and he continued to take fourth.
European F3 - Vallelunga: As he was yesterday, Felix Rosenqvist is 27th on the grid due to his qualifying dramas. There are other guys way back too, including Harry Tincknell and Michael Lewis sharing the 12th row, so we're expecting a fair bit of lower-order overtaking.
European F3 - Vallelunga: We're all ready to go for race 2. This is Alex Lynn's big chance for the weekend. He starts on pole with title-hunting Prema team-mate Raffaele Marciello alongside. Daniil Kvyat and Alexander Sims are on the second row, with Eddie Cheever and Pipo Derani on the third, Felix Serralles and Jordan King on the fourth, and Lucas Auer and Euro F3 debutant John Bryant-Meisner on the fifth.

MotoGP - Sepang: We only had 11 prototype bikes to start with today as Stefan Bradl broke his ankle in a practice crash yesterday. He's already had surgery in Malaysia and will travel to Australia for next week's grand prix and have his condition assessed.

MotoGP - Sepang: We're now at half-distance. Can Marquez close the one-second lead Pedrosa now has? The elder Spaniard was dominant in practice but lost out in the messy damp qualifying session. And is Lorenzo beaten...? He certainly won't want to be.
