20 minutes of warm-up this morning were topped by Andrea Dovizioso, but it will be his Ducati teammate Jorge Lorenzo who starts on pole and comes into this race as the favourite. Will it be back-to-back wins for the Spaniard?
Before we get into the build-up to the main event, we have enjoyed two fantastic races already today.
In Moto3, a dramatic 21-lap even, in which championship protagonists Jorge Martin and Aron Canet crashed out of, Enea Bastianini took his first win since Motegi 2016, while Marco Bezzecchi opened up his championship lead to 19 points over Fabio Di Giannantonio.
In Moto2, Fabio Quartararo fended off Miguel Oliveira - who started from 17th - to claim his first grand prix victory, while a lowly eighth for championship leader Francesco Bagnaia saw his standings lead cut to just one point by Oliveira.
