Rossi steals third from Miller at Turn 13.
Lorenzo is only 19th. He is extra careful not to crash this weekend, but that's still a poor start from 12th on the grid.
Marquez's lead is up to three seconds, Dovizioso in second leads a group of five riders including Miller, Morbidelli, Rossi and, for the moment, Crutchlow.
Information
Crutchlow was given a ride-through penalty for jumping the start.
Two laps into the race, Marquez is 2.5s in the clear.
Information
Top 10 after Lap 2: 1 Marquez; 2 Dovizioso; 3 Rossi; 4 Miller; 5 Morbidelli; 6 Crutchlow; 7 Petrucci; 8 Vinales; 9 Nakagami; 10 Quartararo.
Dovizioso and Miller are second and third, but Marquez already has a small gap, which kept him safe on the back straight.
Marquez leads into Turn 1, Vinales has (another) terrible start!

Formation lap underway.
Information
Having won the only race of the season so far, Dovizioso is leading the championship five and nine points ahead of Marquez and Crutchlow respectively.
Marc Marquez has been the strongest rider of the weekend so far but he is joined by the right people, Maverick Vinales, Andrea Dovizioso and Valentino Rossi, at the front of the grid to make the race as close as possible. Jack Miller, impressive all weekend, is starting fifth and Cal Crutchlow, who won here last year and has showcased strong race pace, is eighth on the grid. The biggest disappointment in qualifying was Suzuki and especially Alex Rins, who will need to fight hard from 16th to get a solid result.
Information
The support categories were entertaining as usual - Moto3 was a brawl from Turn 1 of the opening lap to the very last corner, with more lead changes than one can count. In the end, Jaume Masia converted his pole position into a maiden victory after going from fifth to first on the final lap, fending off local hero Gabriel Rodrigo at the last turn.
In Moto2, Lorenzo Baldassarri won for the second time this year, beating Remy Gardner, son of former 500cc champion Wayne.

Many riders complained about track conditions throughout the weekend and said that going off the ideal line to overtake will be a tough ask. However the Termas de Rio Hondo circuit got cleaner as the weekend progressed, and the Moto2 and Moto3 races didn't show any serious issues with the asphalt.

There was some chance for rain but that hasn't materialised yet today, and it seems we will have a dry race. In fact, it is hotter than all weekend, which could mix things up a bit.
