That's it for our live coverage this weekend, hope you all enjoyed it. See you for the GP of the Americas in two weeks' time!
Marquez: "Today was a perfect day. I was so concentrated since FP1, everything worked well, just small trouble in FP4 but then just keep pushing and on the race I knew that my strong point was the first five laps. I put all in and then I saw the difference, I was one seconds, two seconds, three seconds... Then just I take good rhythm, I was not pushing, I just try to manage the tyres, the bike and was really sweet feeling with the bike."
Rossi: "I am very happy for me, for my team and for Yamaha because was a long time that I don't arrive on the podium, with the two mistakes at the end of last year. I am very happy, we need this result, we work very well from Friday. I ride like when I was young, I enjoy very much. The race was good, I expect to have a bit more pace than Dovi but no so I stay behind but at the end I have two or three point where I was a bit faster than him so I try on the last lap, was good. Dovi is not able to do his famous cross and I am happy."
Dovizioso: "Happy for the podium, because when we came here it was our target but I am not happy in the way the tyre work during the race and I have to stay in front to manage the tyres. At the end Valentino was able to study me. I couldn't stay behind because I was struggling to maybe it wasn't the best strategy. I am not happy about third position because the second was there but we have to be happy about the podium."
Special mention to KTM rookie Oliveira, who finished one tenth behind Pol Espargaro in 11th. Zarco on the other hand could just about beat Syahrin for 15th.
Crutchlow just walked into Vinales' pit. Whether that's where the race direction is, or he is angry with Vinales for some reason, is unclear at the moment.
Marquez in the end 'only' won by 9.8s, but still, he was absolutely untouchable today.
Results: 1 Marquez; 2 Rossi; 3 Dovizioso; 4 Miller; 5 Rins; 6 Petrucci; 7 Nakagami; 8 A. Espargaro; 9 P. Espargaro; 10 Oliveira; 11 Lorenzo; 12 Crutchlow; 13 Bagnaia; 14 Zarco; 15 Syahrin; 16 Iannone.
Morbidelli looked rather hurt, he needed help limping away from the crash. Vinales seemed unhurt.
Vinales and Morbidelli collided at T7, the latter hit the back of Vinales' bike in a desperate move.
Marquez takes the chequered flag and takes a crushing victory!
Yamaha's apparent top speed deficits compared to Ducati deny Rossi any chance of passing Dovizioso on the straights. His best chance will be at T13, where he has looked superior.
Dovizioso and Rossi are now safe from the rest, so the podium is guaranteed, but who will take second?
Miller now also passes Rins. Two laps remaining, Rossi is still right behind Dovizioso.
Petrucci lost two positions in one corner, Rins and Miller are up to fourth and fifth.
Both factory Ducatis seem to be struggling at the moment as Dovizioso is under pressure from Rossi, and Petrucci is having to keep Rins and Miller at bay.
A rather poor race by Joan Mir came to an end in the pits.
Group is starting to break up now as Dovizioso is pulling away and only Rossi can keep up. Rins is all over Petrucci, who lost a bit of touch.
Top 10 with five laps to go: 1 Marquez; 2 Dovizioso; 3 Rossi; 4 Petrucci; 5 Rins; 6 Miller; 7 Morbidelli; 8 Vinales; 9 Nakagami; 10 Quartararo.
Marquez watch: Lead is extended to 12.1s with six laps remaining.
Miller slightly forced Morbidelli wide in an overtaking attempt, allowing Rins to sneak past both of them for fifth. The Suzuki man suddenly looks well-placed for a podium finish.
Big mistake from Vinales at Turn 5, he is down to ninth and lost touch with the group fighting for second.
Marquez's lead is up to 10 seconds. Suffocating dominance by the reigning champion.
The fight for second is still very much on, Rossi, Morbidelli, Petrucci, Miller, Vinales and Rins are all right behind Dovizioso.
Karel Abraham is the first rider to crash in the race at Turn 1.
Top 10 after Lap 13: 1 Marquez; 2 Rossi; 3 Dovizioso; 4 Morbidelli; 5 Petrucci; 6 Miller; 7 Vinales; 8 Rins; 9 Nakagami; 10 Quartararo.
Vinales' race is looking really similar to his Qatar showing - after a poor start he is down in seventh, and can't make much progress for the moment.
Shockingly, Marquez has the fastest lap with a 1m39.426s. The next best is Rins with a 1m40.026s. Speaking of Rins, he gained eight places in the race so far, but is losing touch with the top group.
Marquez meanwhile has extended his lead to 6.4s. The rest is very close, the gap between Rossi and Vinales in seventh is 1.4s.
Top 10 after Lap 8: 1 Marquez; 2 Rossi; 3 Dovizioso; 4 Morbidelli; 5 Miller; 6 Petrucci; 7 Vinales; 8 Nakagami; 9 Rins; 10 Quartararo.
Rossi undid some of his hard work by going wide at Turn 5, but in the end he managed to lose only one position.
Another move from Rossi at the same turn, he is now up to second ahead of Dovizioso. His protege Morbidelli meanwhile took fourth from Miller.
Crutchlow has served his penalty. Replays showed his start, but to the naked eye it wasn't obvious at all if he jumped the start or not. Close call.
