BTCC - Silverstone: Not for the first time this season, Austin and Shedden clash at Becketts, with the Audi coming off worst this time.
BTCC - Silverstone: We have nine cars for the lead, with Plato holding off Turkington and Jackson. Smith has overtaken Tordoff for sixth, while Jordan's Eurotech Honda is tagged on to the back of the group.
BTCC - Silverstone: Plato lunges Turkington at Brooklands on lap two to lead. That was a tad more aggressive than his similar race one move, but they both survive.

MotoGP - Aragon: The MotoGP world championship is celebrating a major milestone this weekend, with today's thriller the 800th race in the premier class of grand prix racing.
The first came back in 1949 on June 17th, with British rider Harold Daniell taking his factory Norton to victory in the 500cc race at the Isle of Man TT.

Formula Renault Eurocup - Paul Ricard: A bit of news from the ladder to F1 - McLaren junior Nyck de Vries is the 2014 FR Eurocup champion.
The race here at Paul Ricard is currently under a red flag, but his closest rival Dennis Olsen is already out of the race, meaning that regardless of what happens after the restart (de Vries currently leads) the championship is decided.
Andrea Pizzitola could technically keep things alive, but he'd need to win all three remaining races (including this one, where he sits ninth at the moment) with De Vries not scoring to win the title on countback. We'll stick our neck out and say the title is heading to the Dutchman.
