Aragon MotoGP race day

Yamaha matched its worst-ever winless run of 22 races last time out at Misano, and unless it's found some dark magic or a particularly effective prayer that record will be broken today.

The works bikes have looked poor-to-terrible all weekend, and Tech 3 Yamaha's Johann Zaroc has fared no better. They all start outside of the top 10 and need a miracle to get anything out of this weekend.
Standings (top 10): 1 Marquez, 221; 2 Dovizioso, 154; 3 Rossi, 151; 4 Lorenzo, 130; 5 Vinales, 124; 6 Crutchlow, 119; 7 Zarco, 110; 8 Petrucci, 110; 9 Iannone, 92; 10 Rins, 79.
Marquez, of course, is 67 points ahead of nearest rival Dovizioso in the championship, so he can theoretically afford to finish third behind the two Ducatis in whichever order in the six remaining races.

But obviously it's not that simple, and it's hard to believe Marquez will be content to go winless between now and Valencia anyway.
Grid: 1 Lorenzo; 2 Dovizioso; 3 Marquez; 4 Crutchlow; 5 Iannone; 6 Pedrosa; 7 Petrucci; 8 Bautista; 9 Rins; 10 Miller; 11 Nakagami; 12 Zarco; 13 A Espargaro; 14 Vinales; 15 Smith; 16 Abraham; 17 Rossi; 18 Syahrin; 19 Morbidelli; 20 Luthi; 21 Redding; 22 Simeon; 23 Torres.
Jorge Lorenzo edged Andrea Dovizioso and Marc Marquez in a nail-biting qualifying session yesterday, which, apart from the excellent pole battle, was most notable for the ridiculous amount of riders coasting and looking for tows.
