40 min: Lewis Hamilton heads out for another run and this is medium tyres for the Briton.
40 min: We've been devoid of incident during this session, much like we were for most of the morning running.
39 min: Not a very crowded track right now. Only Grosjean - who pumps in a quick one to go third - Alonso, Gutierrez, van der Garde and Pic are out.
37 min: Interestingly, Vettel pits straight away. No cooling lap followed by another hot attempt for the German.
37 min: ...so is Massa, who says on radio that his balance is off 'everywhere'
36 min: Button is still complaining about the amount of rear grip available to him. Clearly the McLaren is struggling.
35 min: Massa - fourth - gets majorly out of shape coming out of Rivage.
35 min: Webber has pitted the sister car, while Rosberg has recently moved into third place with a time of 1m50.601s. Massa is fourth.
34 min: Vettel rounds the final chicane and loses a little bit of time, but nevertheless goes fastest with 1m49.331s.
34 min: That is followed by a personal best for Vettel in the second sector of the lap. This is looking conclusive...
33 min: And the answer is coming - Vettel is fastest of all in the first sector with 31.621s.
32 min: Vettel joins the circuit on medium tyres. He will clearly be shooting at Webber's benchmark time.
31 min: The Lotuses haven't shown anything in this session, even though Raikkonen - 11th - has completed more laps than anybody else (12).
30 min: Good lap from Bianchi as he climbs to 19th in the Marussia, half a second clear of van der Garde.
30 min: Rosberg joins the track for another run - this time on medium tyres.
30 min: The Ferraris now lie third and fourth as a result of the Webber lap, Massa ahead of Alonso, but each 1.7s off the pace.

26 min: Button has reported his McLaren suffering bad oversteer under entry to Les Combes.
26 min: Mark Webber has joined the circuit with the option tyres on his car.
26 min: Ricciardo has cooled his tyres down for a lap and is now on a second effort.
25 min: Interestingly, both Williams drivers are back out there with the harder of the two compounds bolted on.
24 min: Pic is currently slowest as the half-hour point gets closer. Only four cars are on track, Ricciardo, Bottas, Maldonado and Hulkenberg.
24 min: Pic himself reports problems and suggests a forward shift in mechanical balance and a toe change. The former is accepted.
23 min: Bottas heads out to begin his second run, as Ricciardo comes round on his option compound to go seventh with 1m51.447s.
22 min: Hamilton completes his next timed lap and moves up the list to fourth position, with a time of 1m51.180s.
21 min: Medium compound tyres for Ricciardo on this run. He is the first to blink.
