37 min: The Caterhams of Kovalainen and van de Garde are eighth and 10th. A total of 11 drivers have set flying laptimes.
37 min: Vergne has brought the other Toro Rosso into the pits. He has completed five laps of the circuit so far this morning.
37 min: Movement at Red Bull, as Webber puts on his racing helmet and is about to climb into the car.
37 min: Raikkonen locks up and just stays on the track at La Source. That will compromise his exit speed.
36 min: Van der Garde has a lurid moment through Eau Rouge just after telling his engineer that he can feel his rears going off.
36 min: Ricciardo has seen enough of the current conditions. He comes in, leaving team-mate Vergne out there to complete another lap.

33 min: Ricciardo comes round to complete his first effort. The Australian slots in just behind his team-mate in fourth with 2m02.701s.
32 min: Vergne completes his first timed lap and moves into third spot with 2m02.102s.
32 min: Van der Garde is out, and is being very precise instructions regarding useage of tyres and KERS from the pitwall.
31 min: Bottas is next out onto the circuit in the Williams, as more drops begin to come down.
31 min: A second lap for Gutierrez and he outbrakes himself at the final chicane too. Everyone on-track is using inters.
30 min: Ricciardo joins his team-mate on track and is sampling how tricky the current conditions are.
29 min: Gutierrez goes third in his Sauber. 2m03.146s is a few hundredths quicker than Grosjean.
28 min: Vergne heads out to explore the latest track conditions in his Toro Rosso.
28 min: Massa is on a second installation lap. Alonso has still done just the one.
26 min: Grosjean did that despite repeating Raikkonen's 'off' at the final chicane. Impressive.
25 min: Grosjean completes his first flyer and is now third, knocking team-mate Raikkonen back a spot.
25 min: It's a McLaren one-two at the top of the timesheets as Sergio Perez goes second on his first flying lap. He's 0.578s off team-mate Button.
24 min: Raikkonen almost verifies the fact by over-running the Bus Stop chicane and taking a big chunk of asphalt run-off. He continues without trouble.
23 min: Caterham engineers report rain in the pitlane.
23 min: Raikkonen goes second fastest, 3.5s down on Button.
23 min: There are one or two drops falling, but nothing more than that and the circuit is damp and slippery in several places.
21 min: Both Lotus cars are on-track as Raikkonen breezes by Grosjean through Eau Rouge.
20 min: The track is drying rapidly. Both Button and Chilton say their rear tyres are in danger of overheating if they stay out. Both are instructed to pit.
19 min: Chilton is told to stay out via radio, and goes second fastest, 5.3s adrift of Button.
18 min: Bottas in fact aborts finishing that lap and comes into the pits.
17 min: The far side of the circuit is looking almost bone dry as Bottas uses a touch more of the kerb than is optimal exiting Fagnes on his first timed lap.

16 min: Bianchi is the first man to set a time in 2m07.578s on intermediate tyres.
15 min: Bottas crosses the start-finish line and begins a timed lap.
15 min: Intermediate tyres for Bottas as he rounds Pouhon and works his way through Fagnes and down to the Curve Paul Frere.
14 min: Bottas heads out to begin a second run in his Williams. No times on the board as yet.
13 min: No times on the board yet as the opening 10 minutes. Raikkonen is officially on top of the timesheets, having completed two non-flying laps.
12 min: Vettel comes in at the end of his second lap and this time he stops at his pit. He is wheeled into the garage.
11 min: For the remainder of the field it is data download time as the telemetry engineers are hard at work following the installation run.

10 min: Van der Garde is 'not comfortable' in his Caterham. "The rear feels too loose," he says over radio. "Maybe it's the wing or the tyres."
10 min: Vettel is the last man back into the pitlane. He practices a start at the end of the lane and rejoins the circuit for a second tour.
9 min: Hamilton returns to the pitlane after one lap, while Vettel heads towards Blanchimont on intermediate tyres.
