Zuber ends Ricard test on top
Andreas Zuber returned to the top of the times on the final day of GP2 testing at the Paul Ricard circuit in France
Zuber, who had gone quickest on Tuesday with the Minardi Piquet Sports team, switched to Super Nova for the final day of work and came close to breaking the unofficial track record with a best time of 1:12.584.
Venezuelan Pastor Maldonado, fastest on Thursday, was second both in the morning and the afternoon sessions as he worked for the Minardi Piquet Sports team. Maldonado was over two tenths slower than Zuber.
Rookie Romain Grosjean was impressive in the Racing Engineering car, posting the third quickest time ahead of Adrian Zaugg and Kazuki Nakajima.
Fellow rookie Yelmer Buurman also shone in the ART Grand Prix car, finishing sixth in the afternoon.
The test was the last time the current GP2 car was run in Europe, as in 26 days it will flown to Dubai for the first round of the GP2 Asia Series.
