Rosberg Happy to Beat Kovalainen

Nico Rosberg: It's about time! Yeah, I'm really happy - it worked out well in the race. We were able to open a safe gap for the pitstop, that worked out well and we came out in front, and then I just controlled the gap to him [Heikki Kovalainen] until the end. It was a great race, and when you're in front the race just doesn't want to end anymore, so I was really happy to get there!

Q: Well you look fresh as a daisy - you look as though you could do it all over again!

Rosberg: Heh - not really though! But it was alright.

Q: You were really quick, but it looked as though you had the pace of the race under your control.

Rosberg: Yeah - the guys were just telling me the gap, and I just kept it there and that was it.

Q: This season Heikki has been so fast, but ...

Rosberg: Yeah - the problem is he's bloody consistent as well, so we won today but bloody hell, he's only lost two points!

Q: Your season started off slowly but it has suddenly come alive - do you think two races in a row means perhaps you can take the challenge to Heikki for the Championship?

Rosberg: Well I'll give it a try - why not - that's why I'm here! But it's not going to be easy, that's for sure.

Q: What do you think will happen tomorrow?

Rosberg: Tomorrow I'm starting eighth, so it's not going to be easy - we'll see. I don't know how hard it is to overtake guys here - I think I'll have to go and ask Alex and see if he had some maneuvers along the way to see if it's possible. We'll see.
