iSport warn drivers over start

GP2 Series leaders iSport have warned their drivers Timo Glock and Andreas Zuber not to collide off the startline in Hungary as they did at Magny-Cours earlier this year

Hungary is the third iSport front row lock-out of the year, yet neither of these has translated into a one-two at the first corner.

While it has not issued a direct edict to Glock and Zuber, it has been suggested that whoever is in front by the time they engage third gear on the start/finish straight should be allowed to lead through the tricky, tight first corner.

When asked if he had breached the subject straight after the qualifying session, team principal Paul Jackson said: "I had the good grace to congratulate them first on their qualifying achievement...Then I told them [not to crash into each other]!"

His drivers have also stated they do not want a repeat of the Magny-Cours fiasco.

"We both want to win this race," said Glock, who will start from pole. "But this isn't F1, where there is clear team strategies. It's up to us. I think we should be cleverer than we were at Magny-Cours. I hope we'll be okay."

Zuber, who starts from second place, said: "Last time [at Magny-Cours] we spoke together about what we should and shouldn't do - and look what happened! This time, we shouldn't talk about it and just see what happens.

"It depends who gets the best start. My target for the rest of the season is race victories, and Timo's aim is to win the championship. I think we'll be fine."
