Glock not thinking about title yet

Despite his victory in the GP2 sprint race at Barcelona on Sunday, new points leader Timo Glock says he is not thinking about winning the championship just yet

Glock was the best scorer of the Barcelona weekend with a sprint race win and a runner-up spot in Saturday's feature. That, paired with his double second places in Bahrain, gives him a strong championship lead already.

"I'm not looking towards the championship at the moment," said Glock. "There is another nine race weekends to go yet.

"Today's race was pretty good. I had a slight clutch problem at the start, but my car was fast enough to overtake people, which I really enjoyed. My plan from here is just do the best I can, and we'll see where that gets us."

The other big scorer of the weekend, Bruno Senna, was delighted to register almost as many points as Glock. He finished fourth today, just a tenth of a second off the podium.

"This is definitely a lot more than I expected so soon," said Senna. "Today was another good race for me. I saved my tyres until the end, to have a go at Lucas [di Grassi] on the last two laps, but I just couldn't get past him.

"We were side-by-side at one point, but I didn't want to risk everything for just one point."
