"Relief and excitement. We've had a very difficult few months waiting to see if we were going to be included of the entry list for next year so it's great to finally have our place confirmed. Its also really good for Simon Barker who has assembled a really great bunch of guys who all worked really hard this year. It's just a shame that our year was hampered by not being able to qualify at the top of the grid and unfortunately in F3000 it's all about qualifying. Now we just need to concentrate on getting things sorted out for next year. We're competing with everyone else for drivers and we need to choose quite carefully to make sure we don't have a repeat of this year."



"Well you know it was a really tough year for the whole team, especially after doing so well in 1999. It makes it a lot harder having such a good first year because then you have such high standards to live up to. But the second season in a series is always the hardest. It happened to Eddie Jordan in F3000 and also in F1. Although I was talking to David Sears about this and asked him about his second season and he said 'we won it'."



"I don't know, I really don't know. Qualifying was definitely our main problem. You have some drivers who qualify well and others that race well. Not to take anything away from Bas [Leinders] and Andrea [Piccini], but we're going to start with a clean sheet for next year. It's actually very strange because Bas is a good racing driver and he has a lot of experience from winning the German F3 championship and running in F3000."



"We don't know yet. It's all a bit like playing poker. We tested lots of people at Barcelona and Jerez - Jonathan Cochet, Justin Keen and Damien Faulkner. Ideally we'd like a very keen and quick younger driver, but he must be teamed up with someone who has a bit more experience."



We're paying a lot of attention to plans for next year. To be good it takes a lot of hard work and absolute dedication. Late nights and early mornings, sometimes no sleep at all. We're going to be working flat out...
