Van der Garde on top at Ricard
Former EuroSeries Formula Three driver Giedo van der Garde topped the times during the second day of World Series by Renault testing at Paul Ricard in France
The Pons Racing driver set his fastest time in the quicker afternoon session to outpace Ben Hanley, who was an impressive second fastest in the Cram car. He was just one tenth slower than the pace-setter.
Mikhail Aleshin in the Carlin Motorsport car was third quickest, ahead of David Valsecchi in the Epsilon Euskadi and Colin Fleming in the other Carlin car.
