Will Buller expands Fortec deal, will race in Euro F3 at Spielberg
British Formula 3 International Series leader Will Buller has increased his deal with Fortec Motorsport to include this weekend's European championship meeting at Spielberg
Buller, 20, began the European F3 season with T-Sport, but left the outfit following the Brands Hatch round earlier this month.
He then joined Fortec, initially on a deal that only encompassed the British series.
That deal has now been extended to include the European round in Austria, where he will drive the car previously campaigned by the now retired Dmitry Suranovich and Ed Jones.
"The deal was initially just for Silverstone, but things went so well with us getting the championship lead and maximum points in the first race, that it made sense to carry on," Buller told AUTOSPORT.
"So far the European plan is just for this weekend as a sort of 'suck it and see' thing, and if all goes well then I'd like to continue with them.
"I already had a good relationship with Fortec from when I raced for them previously in British F3 in 2011, so I hope it will go well."
Buller qualified on pole at Spielberg in last year's F3 Euro Series for Carlin and won the reversed-grid race there too.
His former team T-Sport will run just one car in Austria for Spike Goddard while rival squad Romeo Ferraris is missing the event as driver Michela Cerruti is on Blancpain Endurance Series duty at Silverstone.
