Silverstone British F3: Jordan King on top in practice
Jordan King topped free practice at Silverstone ahead of this weekend's British Formula 3 International Series opener

In a damp opening session, the Englishman and his Carlin Dallara-Volkswagen lapped over a second quicker than the Double R Racing Dallara-Mercedes of Italian Antonio Giovinazzi.
With track conditions and tyre choice varying, times were well spread out in this session.
Third-placed Felipe Guimaraes, who has joined the Fortec Motorsport Dallara-Mercedes team for British F3 only, was 2.1s slower than King, but narrowly edged out his team-mate, Fortec returnee Will Buller.
Jann Mardenborough, fifth in the morning's one-hour session, went fastest in the afternoon as conditions deteriorated further. In a short run in between the first and second of three red flags, the Carlin-run Welshman leapfrogged King and Giovinazzi.
Giovinazzi was fast but had an incident, while Nicholas Latifi caused a red flag and Tatiana Calderon had the accident that brought testing to a premature conclusion.
Ed Jones was comfortably the fastest of the National Class runners in his European F3 Open-spec Team West-Tec car, heading the CF Racing Dallara-Mugen Honda of Sun Zheng.
West-Tec's Roberto la Rocca missed the second session, while MSV F3 Cup leader Alice Powell had a delayed flight on her return to the UK and only got out when conditions were at their worst in the afternoon.
