Senna wins wet race 2 at Mugello
Bruno Senna completed a remarkable weekend with victory in the second British Formula 3 race at Mugello today
The Double R driver, who has struggled in the dry this weekend, was lucky to have a repeat of the wet conditions that saw him put the car on the front row of the grid yesterday.
He drove around the outside of pole man Oliver Jarvis at the first corner and cleared off to a comfortable win.
Jarvis withstood some early pressure from runaway championship leader Mike Conway, but Conway made a mistake and lost a couple of seconds with a grassy moment. After that he settled for third place.
All this means that the championship has not yet been decided, but is likely to be settled in Conway's favour at next weekend's penultimate meeting at Silverstone.
The National Class title also stays open for a while longer, with series leader Rodolfo Gonzalez comfortably defeated by South African Cristiano Morgado.
