Qualifying 2: Second pole for Green
Jamie Green went fastest in the second British Formula 3 qualifying session at Donington Park today (Saturday), giving him pole for both of tomorrow's races
Although the Briton couldn't match his pole lap from the day's first session, his 1m04.314s was still enough to ensure he was start from the front of the grid.
The major shock of the session came from Nelson Piquet Jr, who bounced back from disqualification from the day's first qualifying session to set the second fastest time, ensuring him a front row spot for tomorrow's race.
Green's Carlin team-mate Richard Antinucci set the third fastest time, ahead of Dane Ronnie Bremer. For the second qualifying session running, Carlin claimed four of the five fastest times.
Ernesto Viso was again the fastest scholarship class driver, setting the eighth quickest time overall. Steven Kane will start second in the class.
