Nurb 1 qual: Pole for Green
Formula 3 Euro Series dominator Jamie Green notched up another pole position to add to his collection at the Nurburgring on Saturday morning
The Brit will start from the front of the grid in this afternoon's event after lapping just 0.013secs faster than Sunday's poleman Nico Rosberg. The times were much quicker in today's session which, unlike yesterday, was not afflicted by yellow or red flags.
Green (ASM Dallara-Mercedes) was the pacesetter for much of the session, working his way down to 1m22.621s. Rosberg (Rosberg Dallara-Opel) languished at the bottom of the top six early on, but just failed to pip Green with a 1m22.634s lap.
Green's team-mate Eric Salignon was also in with a shout of pole but had to make do with the second row with a lap of 1m22.701s. Lewis Hamilton (Manor Dallara-Mercedes) will start fourth, the Englishman showing no signs of after-effects from his crash yesterday, after he lapped 0.040secs slower than Salignon.
Alexandre Premat (ASM) will start fifth, ahead of Nicolas Lapierre (Signature-Plus Dallara-Opel).
