Maiden F3 win for Senna at Oulton
Bruno Senna claimed his first British F3 win at Oulton Park today
The Brazilian led home his Double R teammate Stephen Jelley in the season-opening race, which was disrupted by three safety car periods.
Senna led from the start and cruised to victory in a manner reminiscent of his compatriot Nelson Angelo Piquet two years ago.
Jelley kept in touch, and well clear of the rest, but was unable to match Senna's excellent start and his three superb restarts.
Oliver Jarvis (Carlin Motorsport) held on to a distant third throughout the race, though his teammate Maro Engel kept the pressure on all the way.
James Walker (Hitech Racing) lay fifth early on, before retiring mid-race, which brought Mike Conway (Double R) into fifth.
Conway looked to be struggling far more than his teammates in this encounter, and will be hoping for a better showing from pole position in the second race later this afternoon.
Rodolfo Gonzalez (T-Sport) will be aiming for a National Class double, after taking a straightforward class win this morning.
