Conway takes pole for race 2
Mike Conway fought back to defeat his Double R teammates and top the times in the second British F3 qualifying session at Oulton Park today
The British driver, who had a disappointing first session, will start Monday's second race alongside Bruno Senna, who had already claimed pole for race one in today's morning session.
Conway had complained of understeer earlier in the day but had the problem cured for this afternoon.
This time it was an improved Christian Bakkerud leading the way for Carlin Motorsport, just ahead of Yelmer Buurman (Fortec Motorsport) and Bakkerud's teammate Oliver Jarvis.
Stephen Jelley, who will start the first race from the front row, will line up sixth for race two. His performance rounds off a great day for Double R, with all their cars in the top six for both races.
