Formula 3 positions after round six

The championship standings for the British Formula 3 championship have been confirmed after the weekend's race at Brands Hatch

The standings show Brazil's Antonio Pizzonia of the Manor Motorsport squad gaining a slight advantage over rival Tomas Scheckter, with the South African's Stewart team mate Narain Karthikeyan some way behind.

Japan's Takuma Sato is fourth for Carlin Motorsport with 45 points, one ahead of Michael Bentwood. Pre-season title favourite Matt Davies currently languishes in 8th place overall, two places below Promatecme team mate Andy Priaulx.

Autosport young driver of the year Gary Paffett is country mile ahead of the game in the Scholarship class, with 147 points as opposed to 58 for his closest rival Marcel Romanio.
