Di Grassi Fastest at Hockenheim
Manor Motorsport's Lucas di Grassi was the quickest driver in dry conditions on the second day of the Formula Three Euroseries test at Hockenheim

Di Grassi set a 1:34.551 lap, claiming a fastest lap in testing for the second time after setting an equally impressive lap at the recent Spa Francorchamps test. Giedo van der Garde (1:34.681) and Adrian Sutil (1:34,700) were second and third respectively at the German circuit.
The times were all set in the afternoon session - the morning session was once again wet, when rookie Esteban Guerrieri was fastest with a time of 1:51.034.
Di Grassi, who last year contested in the British Formula Three championship, considered the times to be a continuation of his recent good form: "At the end of the last season, in Bahrain and Macau, things were already running really good for me. Furthermore, Manor is a truly good team and I've got a good engine."
The Brazilian was pleasantly surprised with the fastest time, as his intention was to merely run as many laps as possible: "I've never been here before, therefore, every kilometre is important." He completed 130 laps - more than any other driver - on the day.
At the end of day two of testing twelve drivers had set a lap time within one second of di Grassi, which augers well for qualifying on the circuit at the opening race in just over a week, on April 16.
