Asmer wins Snetterton race 2
Marko Asmer claimed his fifth win of the season with victory in the second British F3 race at Snetterton today
The Hitech Racing driver led from start to finish, fending off first Sam Bird and then Alberto Valerio.
The Carlin Motorsport drivers swapped positions midway through the race when Valerio passed Bird into the Esses.
Maro Engel was fourth for Carlin, with Stephen Jelley (Double R) taking fifth from Sebastian Hohenthal (Fortec Motorsport) after a mid-race safety car period, caused by Rodolfo Gonzalez's accident.
The Venezuelan had been in front of Hohenthal at the time, but lost out as the pair disputed the position at the Esses.
Viktor Jensen took his first win in the National Class, after several drivers were eliminated from contention in a first-corner melee.
