Asmer wins race two at Croft
Marko Asmer (Hitech Racing) concluded his championship-winning day in perfect fashion with a fine start-to-finish win at Croft this afternoon (Sunday)
The Estonian withstood heavy pressure from Niall Breen (Carlin Motorsport) in the early stages of the race, before edging away to win by over three seconds.
Atte Mustonen (Double R Racing) took a comfortable third after passing Maro Engel (Carlin) at the end of the opening lap, after which he was then demoted another place by his team-mate Alberto Valerio.
Jonathan Kennard ran ahead of all but Asmer and Breen for a handful of laps before an unforced error at Hawthorn put him to the back of the field.
New National Class champion Sergio Perez beat Franky Cheng to conclude his class title-winning day in similar fashion to Asmer.
