Asmer wins chaotic race two
Marko Asmer took his first British Formula Three victory in a shortened second round at Oulton Park
The race had to be started three times after multi-car midfield incidents caused each of the first two starts to be red-flagged.
Pole sitter Jonathan Kennard did not manage to maintain his advantage at any of the three attempts.
Sebastian Hohenthal shot through from row two at the first start, outside front row qualifier Stephen Jelley took the lead on the second start, before Asmer came from fourth to lead at the start that ultimately counted.
The Hitech Racing driver remained ahead for the duration, despite constant pressure from Raikkonen Robertson's Jelley.
F3 rookie Hohenthal also edged up on the leaders in the second half of the race, while Kennard rued his poor starts in fourth.
Race one winner Maro Engel had to settle for fifth this time, ahead of Carlin teammate Sam Bird.
Cheng Cong Fu completed a double victory in the National Class, overtaking early leader Viktor Jensen.
