Alguersuari heads Snetterton test
The British Formula 3 rivalry between Carlin Motorsport teammates Jaime Alguersuari and Brendon Hartley continued in testing this week with just 0.007 seconds separating the pair after two days of running at Snetterton
The pair clashed in the first race of the season and were barely separable again as they dominated the two days of testing.
Alguersuari, who is joint top of the standings after winning one of the races at Oulton Park last month, narrowly edged out his fellow Red Bull driver Hartley when the quickest times were set during the morning session on the second day.
Hartley had earlier topped the first day's running, one tenth ahead of Sebastian Hohenthal and Esteban Guerrieri.
Guerrieri was third again on the second day, ahead of Atte Mustonen and Marcus Ericsson, who shares the lead of the championship with Alguersuari.
The second round of the season takes place at Croft on April 26-27.
