Trulli targets podium in Brazil

Italian Jarno Trulli is looking to score his first podium of the season after his strong qualifying performance of the year at Interlagos

Trulli, who has endured a disappointing season with the Toyota team, will start tomorrow's Brazilian Grand Prix from third place.

His performance has boosted Toyota's chances of beating the BMW Sauber team in the championship, the German squad being one point ahead.

"It is a pleasure to be here, and the first time this season I am third," said Trulli. "I have been trying really hard this year to be third in qualifying and finally we have achieved it.

"I am happy, we have pushed hard to improve the car and we made a good step. Now we want to score as many points as possible to finish fifth in the constructors' championship.

"We need to see our strategy, the tyres are working very well and I am looking forward tomorrow to getting on the podium because a few times this year it has slipped through my hand."

Teammate Ralf Schumacher will start from seventh.
