Trulli not ruling out podium finish
Jarno Trulli believes a podium finish is possible in tomorrow's German Grand Prix after qualifying fourth this afternoon
The Italian admits that a points finish is a more realistic target, but is targeting another podium finish after the third place he scored at Magny-Cours last month.
"In the end our aim is to finish in fourth place in the constructors' championship so tomorrow the aim is to score some more points," he said.
"Everyone knows what can happen with tyres and strategy, but everyone plays their own game, so we'll find out tomorrow," he said.
"Realistically we can score points, but thinking of the podium? Always. As long as we have hope, you have to believe in it."
Trulli says he was happy with his qualifying lap, which put him ahead of Kimi Raikkonen's Ferrari, Robert Kubica's BMW, and Fernando Alonso's Renault.
"It never comes easy, but I've been pushing hard and improving from practice to qualifying," he said. "In the beginning I was not quite right with the balance and we changed the tyre pressure and front wing, then it came with a good lap."
