Trulli expects another tough race

Italian Jarno Trulli is not expecting a change in fortunes for his Toyota team in next weekend's Malaysian Grand Prix

Trulli finished down in 16th position in Sunday's Bahrain Grand Prix after both him and teammate Ralf Schumacher struggled with a lack of grip during the whole weekend.

And with no time to test before the Sepang race, Trulli is expecting a similarly difficult weekend for his team.

"Last year's race was my favourite of the entire season, when we were able to take Toyota's first podium," said Trulli, who finished second in last year's event in Malaysia, giving the Japanese team their maiden podium since making their F1 debut in 2002.

"Of course our form in Bahrain suggests that this year's race will be much harder.

"We were expecting a better start but now we have to work to improve our performance. Of course we cannot change much in time for Malaysia but hopefully we can keep up the learning process with the aim of moving up over the next few races.

"The new qualifying system has gone down well but we saw in Bahrain how chaotic it can be with all the traffic out at the same time."
