Adrian Sutil believes that Force India can maintain its strong run of form over the remainder of the season, after the team delivered more points in the Italian Grand Prix

Sutil: Force India can keep momentum

The German driver, who qualified on the front row at Monza, eventually finished fourth after a race-long duel with Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen.

And although the low-downforce characteristics of Spa and Monza have played a part in helping Force India enjoy its best ever results, Sutil sees no reason why the events coming up will not be just as good.

"I think the next circuits suit us really well," he told AUTOSPORT. "I am not 100 percent sure if we are still going to have a chance of winning in Singapore, but Japan will suit us really well - as will Brazil. And Abu Dhabi is for everybody a similar chance.

"We have an efficient car and are one of the few teams that has a big update for the next races too. So I am really confident."

After Force India's chances of victory in the Belgian Grand Prix were scuppered by Kimi Raikkonen getting past Giancarlo Fisichella with a boost from KERS early in the race, Sutil again expressed his frustration at losing out in similar circumstances.

"It was a great day here, but there is always frustration because these KERS cars hit us quite a bit," he said. "We lost one position in the last two races because of these KERS, but that is the situation right now.

"It does seem a little bit unfair at the start, but that is the way it is. They [KERS cars] take into account that they have a slower car in the corners, but at the start for sure they have the best car. It means we can put it on pole position, but then lose four positions at the start and it means all the strategy is gone."
