Sato targeting win in 2005
Takuma Sato is targeting a maiden grand prix victory as his primary objective for the 2005 season. Like team-mate Jenson Button, Sato radiated confidence at the launch of BAR's 2005 challenger at Barcelona on Sunday and feels that the radical-looking 007 will give him the tools he needs to make it to the top step of the podium

Sato scored a best finish of third at Indianapolis in 2004 and believes that he will be well-placed to become the first Japanese grand prix winner in F1 history in his second year racing for the emergent Brackley squad, which finished second only to Ferrari in the constructors' championship last season.
"BAR had such a great season last year and we are very fortunate to be carrying that momentum through to this season," said Sato. "I am going into my second season here with more experience, confidence and team stability.
"Obviously I want to push myself even harder to try and improve on my podium finish last year and my ultimate goal must be to challenge for more podiums and eventually to achieve my first win."
