Rosberg warns there's more to come

Nico Rosberg has warned Williams' rivals that his team's best is yet to come after he and teammate Mark Webber secured the second row of the grid

Williams had gone into the weekend promising a more aggressive approach, after playing it too safe in Bahrain, and it resulted in them challenging for pole position. Rosberg took third place with Webber just one slot behind him.

And despite the great performance on Saturday, which has come in Rosberg's second Grand Prix, the driver and team believe they will be even faster in the race.

"It is not too bad," said Rosberg, who claimed fastest lap on his way to seventh place in Bahrain. "I am really, really pleased with how it went.

"It is not easy at all, but it has been going well and I am fitting in well with the team and working well with the team. And especially for the race, we are going to be stronger compared to qualifying. In fact, we could have the edge in the race."

Williams technical director Sam Michael was equally bullish about his team's chances for the race on Sunday.

"Nico is fantastic, isn't he," said Michael. "For his second Grand Prix, to go P3 on the grid, is really, really good. This is a very technical circuit, he hadn't driven a lap here before he got here, so to have both cars on the second row of the grid is fantastic for Williams, Cosworth and Bridgestone.

"And if anything we were going to struggle in qualifying because the tyres are so good in the long runs."
