Rosberg believes podium is possible
Nico Rosberg believes his Williams team can fight for a podium finish at the Hungarian Grand Prix despite a tough first day of work on Friday
Rosberg was not completely happy with his car's handling today, but still managed to set the third quickest time of the day.
The Williams driver reckons that, with some luck, he will be fighting for the top three on Sunday.
"It wasn't super competitive. We are still behind the Red Bulls and the Brawns for sure here, although it is difficult to say what the others are doing," said Rosberg.
"We need to be a bit careful, we are very even with McLaren. And I wasn't happy with my car at all today. I really wasn't. It was not handling the way I would like it to, really struggling, so if we can improve that which I am confident we can, although it is not easy, then I think we are looking good this weekend.
"We need a little bit of luck for sure to get a podium, but I still believe that we can do it."
He added: Tyres not so easy to understand, very close and the options seems to be going well, but the prime is too, so it will be interesting to see what people do in the race.
"We had a generally good test so have a generally good idea about what we need to do, so we could be seeing some interesting things. Both tyres are suited for the track though so it is not going to be a big issue."
