Renault set to reveal ING as title sponsor
Renault are on course to reveal Dutch banking group ING as their new title sponsor, to replace Mild Seven, in the next few weeks
Although the world champions have remained silent on the news, McLaren boss Ron Dennis has said he believes the deal will be announced soon.
Dennis knows about the ING situation because his team, as well as Ferrari, courted the banking group before Renault clinched the deal.
"We are quite sure that Renault will announce a sponsor in the next few weeks," said Dennis, who did not name ING specifically.
"We were in discussions with the same sponsor, and we understand it will be a pretty comparable one to the one they had with Mild Seven."
It is understood that ING has agreed a three-year deal with Renault, with options to extend the partnership.
The company has white, orange and dark blue corporate colours, but a senior source told Autosport magazine that an orange car was out of the equation.
ING are also expected to have a major track-side presence next year in a bid to increase their global brand awareness.
