Red Bull Racing wait on name

Red Bull Racing must now face an anxious wait to check whether its name will be entered to next year's Formula 1 world championship after the official 2005 entry list was released on Wednesday with Jaguar Racing still down as an entrant

The list, which featured no other major surprises, stated that the team name for cars 14 and 15 was Jaguar Racing and that the constructor was Jaguar Cosworth. An asterix was put by the team, however, stating that the change of name had been applied for.

Although sources close to the sport's governing body, the FIA, claim that the matter is purely procedural and that there would likely be little trouble in the change of name to 'Red Bull Racing' actually happening, the continued presence of Jaguar Racing will likely be a minor embarrassment for the team's new owners.
