Raikkonen Wants to Stay at McLaren
Finn Kimi Raikkonen says he wants to stay at McLaren for a long time and is not thinking about joining another team for the time being
"The most important thing for me is to drive for a winning team," Raikkonen said.
"In my career I want to always be in the best possible team. At the moment I feel very good at McLaren and we're working hard to make this positive time last long."
McLaren boss Ron Dennis said recently 25-year old Raikkonen can stay at McLaren as long as he wants. Raikkonen is in his fourth season at the British squad and his contract expires at the end of 2006.
With Ferrari boss Jean Todt making no secret of his admiration for Raikkonen, there has been speculation that the Finn could be on Ferrari's list to replace World Champion Michael Schumacher when he retires.
"I'm not thinking about it at the moment, Raikkonen was quoted as saying by Gazzetta dello Sport. "Ferrari is a good team which have been winning for one hundred years, and this of course is very impressive."
